Hydraulic, single-acting
An asymmetric rod seal for standard applications. An interference fit on outside diameter maintains a stable fit in the housing. The design provides the ultimate sealing effect over a wide temperature range, has good back pumping ability and low tendency to “stick-slip”. It can also be used as a secondary seal in combination with an O-ring activated PTFE-seal type S09.
